Majestic Cave House

Great breakfast. Super great location as it sits among the top row of the highest apartments in Goreme. The view at any time of day or night is spectacular from inside the apartment and on the patio. Attila the owner was super nice, great spoken English, and so accommodating with towels, cleaning, water bottles, recommendations for eats, etc.

The stay inside carved out rock was amazing but it came with a bit of a cost. The room was a little humid despite running the dehumidifier constantly. This did not bother any of us though as we looked at this as part of the experience. Not sure how it could be avoided.

This is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in! Perfect location to walk around Goreme and see the beautiful sights. The room was spacious, clean, comfortable & so beautiful (the pictures don't do it justice!). We stayed in the king suite which was a perfect size for my parents, brother and I. What really made this a wonderful time though was the lovely staff, everyone was so kind and welcoming. Seriously cannot wait to go back. Thank you for everything! :)

Inmaculate clean, gifts like slippers and toothbrush, the staff, the incredible turkish breakfast everyday, home close it was to the downtown and restaurants, but above all how we overslept twice but still got to see the hot air balloons over the city because the noise of the balloons woke us up passing just outside our bedroom and hotel because it is located just beneath the viewing point- which is paid- so we didn’t had to wake up so early cause just going outside your room you see the balloons incredibly close. We’d like to thank specially Eren who since our check in was incredible kind and helpful ; in a city that felt as if everyone was trying to squeeze more money out of you, he was one of the only people who just seemed eager to help another person.

You should bring cash (euros, not Turkish liras) for the hot air balloons and tours cause the company they work with asks for cash to avoid taxes. Consider maybe 500euros for all activities.

It's a great experience with hotel in a cave.

Booked a family room but were told that there's problem with the room coz of flood?! But they offered 2 rooms for us. But the thing is...I'm spending time as a family and wouldn't like to have separate room. And we booked the family room due the unique look and feel of staying in a cave. The feel is totally different with the twin room. Though I know is not their fault, but still...

First time had a stay in cave hotel, great value for the money spend

The location is perfect, and the room is beautiful and big with no humidity or mold issues. Breakfast is a Turkish style, but could be more varied. The staff is very friendly.

At one day it was very cold.

The most amazing hotel, the rooms are carved into pillows of rocks. Friendly staff, tasty breakfast, balconies and courtyard to relax in.

The hotel is great. But don’t book with them for any activity, I asked for hot air balloon first fly from Goreme. They offer 230EUR in the morning and I ask for discounts , they say they will check it for me. After that, in the afternoon they tell me they can offer 180EUR, I take the price and confirmed that the ballon will be first fly from Goreme as they promise. But Today when we arrived ballon take off point all the ballon already take off, and we miss the sunrise. After heading back to hotel I tell the hotel employee what was happened and asked for an explanation and he said let him contact the company. Clearly at this point, he was gonna check with the company for the first fly problem for me. After that he didn’t reply me any information until I asked him again before I left the hotel to the airport. At this point he go back to his word, said he only promised Goreme but not first fly, then I go to his boss to asked for a explanation, they are the same attitude, said I asked for lower price so I got second fly. Totally lack of responsibility, and to be honest, such a trickery move. Don’t let them fool you if you are a traveller.
