"Almost out in the Japanese Alps"

Loved the extraordinary location of an apple farm. The host family was extremely kind and explained a lot about various fruits and vegetables grown in or around their farm. The guest house was very comfortable, roomy and clean. Would absolutely stay here again with family

"Fantastic and will be back!"

We were so happy with the place and the host even though we only stayed for one night! Wish we could stay longer! Host was very friendly, she speaks limited English but good enough to converse for basic needs. We love the apply farm visit, apples were really sweet. The place has total 4 single beds and a tatami living area with Netflix. It’s truly cozy and my husband love the shower!

"I love my stay."

It’s actually getting to stay in a house in a countryside area but just 15 minutes away by taxi from JR station. This is a Japanese house with a very good smell from the wood! The common area with a projector screen is very nice!. The cleanliness is very good. The owners are very nice. Everything is lovely!

The place very nice and comfy. The owner, Asuka-san is very nice and helpful. It’s near Matsumoto city. She also have apple tour her farm. Their apple are very tasty and reasonable price. Thank you Asuka-san and her family for our nice stay and good memory in matsumoto🙏

"Charming stay with a gracious host and apple picking!"

We had an incredible stay at Shinshu Yokoya Farm. It was everything I dreamed of and I'm so glad we even got one night to stay here. If I had to choose one place out of two week trip to Japan, this was our favourite. Even though we were just a couple using the room, it felt luxurious and neatly cared for to give an exceptional experience. It was great to slow down, relax, and enjoy the scenery of rural farming life. We arrived at 4:00 PM and decided to take a leisurely stroll to Matsumoto City Alps Park, where we enjoyed a quaint picnic. Our host displayed exceptional kindness, and our morning was filled with pleasant conversations and apple-picking. Be sure to bring your own food to the guest house, as the nearest convenience store (konbini) is a 15-minute walk away. If you need transportation in the morning, don't hesitate to ask the host, as they can arrange a taxi for you. We chose to take a taxi from Matsumoto station, and the fare came to ¥1800.

Nothing! It was all great! If possible, experience the apple picking however that is dependent on the seasons.
