The Ultimate Escape

Es war eine ausgezeichnete Wohnung auf St. Lucia. Charmaine und ihr Mann waren überaus freundlich und hilfsbereit. Praktisch immer da, wenn wir mal eine Frage hatten. Die Wohnküche ist sehr großzügig und insgesamt gibt es 2 Schlafzimmer, von denen wir nur eins nutzten. Das Bad war sehr sauber und man hatte eigentlich alles was man braucht. Sogar Handtücher für den Strand oder die Sulfur Bäder. Ein liebevoll gestalteter Ordner beinhaltet sehr nützliche Informationen über die Gegend, Aktivtäten, Restaurants und vieles mehr. Fast schon ein persönlicher Reiseführer. Der Außenbereich ist auch sehr schön mit Blick auf einen der Pitons. Die hohe Bewertung ist hier sehr gerechtfertigt und wir waren sehr zufrieden mit unserem Aufenthalt. Vielen Dank an Charmaine und ihren Mann!

Die Einfahrt zur Straße die zum Appartment führt war anfangs etwas beschädigt. Das dürfte mittlerweile repariert sein. Für uns mit einem Suzuki Jimny als Mietwagen war das kein Problem. St. Lucia ist einfach generell nicht für Fahranfänger :)

Beautiful property that was close to everything Soufriere including food and entertainment

The location is a beautiful quiet mountain side place set in the forest with a gorgeous view of the Petit Piton Mountain. The host Charmaine and her husband Lennox were very helpful, friendly people and even provided a quick Wi-Fi solution when the island's wi'fi went down. there was a guide book provided by Charmaine listing everything local with a complete price breakdown for those who want a five star experience to those like myself who were working with a budget. She included taxi fares so one knew what to roughly expect when booking the day tours from the location

Some people travelling without car or taxi may not like the difficulty to getting to the location, but for my partner and I it did not bother us. Town and groceries were a 15 minute walk, and mini-bus (local transportation) was available on the road the Ultimate escape was located on.

Can fully understand why this places get such high ratings, it was an amazing place to stay at Soufriere in St. Lucia. The apartment is incredibly spacous and spotless. Has everything you could think of inside. The owner is lovely and has a long list of things to do in the area. There is a major supermarket around 500m from the apartment as well as a hot springs just near by as well. It is pretty easy to walk into town as well and the minibuses use this road from town so you have that option as well. Great value for money and would highly recommend to stay here if you get the opportunity. Not sure if this a booking.com issue but the actual location is closer to the town (approx, 750m) then what shows on the booking.com map/location. Google maps has the accurate location. So if you are driving use Google maps to find the apartment.

Everything was perfect.

I get it now. I get why all the reviews are 5 stars. As someone who is skeptical about everything, this place’s 5-stars is well-deserved. Once you arrive, Charmaine makes you feel at home. The place is really well-stocked—literally feels like home. The place is clean and very comfortable. All the recommendations in the binder were on-point. Our first day there was a little rough because we had a flat tire on the way to Soufriere, but all was at peace when we got to the Ultimate Escape. I couldn’t have asked for a better host and home away from home. The parking is kinda scary for any American driver because you have to drive up a steep hill, but we were able to park elsewhere nearby thanks to Charmaine and her connections. The Ultimate Escape will exceed all your expectations (and probably ruin your expectations for anywhere else you stay on the island because the next place we stayed at was just meh compared to this). Highly recommend and will definitely recommend this place to all friends and family!

The location was beautiful, our host was so friendly, but also happy to give us our privacy. The place was very comfortable, a fantastic deal for the amount of space we got. Highly recommend to anyone

The driveway is very steep and a little frightening

This is literally the only place you will need to book for a stay in Soufriere! Its proximity to town, beautiful beaches, waterfalls, and the Pitons makes it incredibly ideal for any type of visit or adventure. It also includes all of the amenities needed and more, and the host is INCREDIBLE! Do yourself the biggest favor and have Charmaine cater an authentic meal for you while you’re here. We cannot say enough good things about The Ultimate Escape, the hospitality of the host and how great of an experience you will have if staying here!

Absolutely nothing not to like!

The property was spacious with two good sized double rooms and very well appointed, including complimentary bottled water, toiletries and coffee etc.

The access road is a bit hazardous in the dark and the parking is tight. This is not the owner’s fault but the property name is similar to others in the area and Google/Waze satnavs sent us to the wrong place.
