Family Homestay Tangkoko

Dicht bij de ingang van de Tangkoko park. Onze zeer vriendelijke en attente gastvrouw zorgde voor een super goede gids die echt de tijd nam en ook niet zo nauw met de tijd was waardoor we heel veel hebben kunnen zien. Het eten is heerlijk in het eigen restaurant. Water en bananen kon je nemen wanneer je wou.

This homestay is nearby the entrance of Tangkoko National Park. And 15 minutes walk to the beach. The room is clear. Food is good. The guide is very professional.

I had an amazing stay here. The property is beautiful with plenty of place to sit and relax; the room is really spacious and good AC; and above all, the staff is amazing! They are really helpful and kind. They even took me to harvest mangoes from the trees, which I then ate the next morning for breakfast. The location is right next to the entrance of Tangkoko, so really ideal too. I'd highly recommend booking a guide through them as well - mine was amazing and we really went into the forest and saw so many different animals! Overall - amazing experience :)

Really not sure why there are great reviews. Is this the same place? The room was comfortable enough and they provided soap. The staff helped us get a driver to bitung. The park is absolutely wonderful and walkable distance

We always felt like we were bothering the staff and every request was a burden for them. Makes me sad because I really wanted to like it here! The wifi did not work and there is no service there. We were told we could have the guide (who we were recommended) the following day, but then at 9pm the night before we were told he booked someone else, which is unfortunate when we only had one full day to go to the park.. they recommended another guide who was an “expert for snakes” who couldnt identify anything except green and brown snake lol. the food was cheap but very oily and tasteless. If the staff were friendly and provided better communication this could be a good place

Very friendly host, with everything you need. Clean, comfortable rooms with working AC, connection to experienced guide for forest walks through Tangkoko to see the animals, and a good restaurant attached to the homestay also. Self serve drinks in the fridge is a nice touch also. On my last night there, our host June invited us to join her for a local dinner in the village, which was delicious. Location of the homestay is also perfect, only 5 minute walk to the national park entrance, and 10 mins walking to the beach.

Good location. Spacious room. Junie is really lovely and helpful. She even let me borrow her sister hiking shoes since i didnt bring mind. And help us arrange to get the public transport to town and ensure us given fair price. Thanks so much for the stay and hospitality Junie!

the property itself very clean with ac they offer a restaurant with great food and good prices and of course june and yanto are amazing people

nothing . i don't blame the property because all the region had problems with the power supply so just be aware

Ruime kamer, fijn bed, airco werkt goed. Locatie dichtbij ingang park. Klein restaurant ernaast met basic eten. June had een hele goede gids voor ons geregeld.
