Casa Mia Apartments

It is just steps away by the train and bus station. We arrived from Rome via Flixbus and stopped in front of the train station where you can get trains to Pompeii and Naples. Also close by the restaurants and the shopping area of Sorrento. Everything you want to see is walking distance even down to the marina. It has a separate living room with a kitchen with a stovetop, microwave and refrigerator which we didn’t use since we pretty much eat out but it’s there if you want to cook. Michele is easy to communicate with and he was there to show the apartment and gave recommendations where to eat.

There were no toiletries so we have to go look for a store to buy some. We didn’t bring any because of airlines limits for liquids since we travel light and we never stayed in a place that there wasn’t any. This was minor just want to let people be aware and prepare.

Excellent position, so close to bus & train stations and easy access to car rental. We had a 5 night stay in this lovely apartment. The restaurant and gelateria close by were excellent!

Location was perfect. Across road from train/bus stations. Walking distance to main restaurants, bars, port, grocery stores. Shutters for doors/windows made the room feel very secure and dark at night.

Clean spacious apartment, right in the centre of Sorrento, great having air con in both rooms.

Only slight criticism would be bath towels could of done with a new set after a few days and we had no bath mat for the floor, after 4 days floor was not great. You only get one set of keys that have to be plug in to work the electric in the apartment, so not great when my partner went to get breakfast leaving you with no lights, especially if you need to use bathroom, It's also all gated to get in and out of the building so you do need your keys :)

HOST. Michele contacted us immediately after paying for the accommodation and asked when we would arrive. When we arrived in Sorrento, he met us at the bus station and showed us to the apartment. He immediately handed us the keys and asked what we needed. Later he gave us recommendations about restaurants and wine. He is very kind and attentive. APARTMENT. It is exactly as in the photo, completely new, bright, clean, and stylish. The windows overlook a quiet yard. The apartment is on the first floor but has one great detail, the metal curtains on the windows outside. They are lowered with buttons in rooms near windows and provide complete isolation, especially at night. LOCATION. This is perhaps the most important feature of the accommodation. It is perfect! In front of the yard gate, in 2 minutes, there are the bus and train stations. We went on "door-to-door" trips to Pompeii and Amalfi. Also, if you turn right from the gate you can go onto the street. There is an A-line bus going to the Bagni Regina Giovanna beach. If you turn left from the gate, you will see a pizzeria and a gelateria, which are always full of people, and behind them is a scooter rental. If you walk a further 2 minutes, you will come to the central street of Corso Italia, that is, you will be in the city center! To the right from here, you will find a beautiful park of rare trees and many shops and cafes. To the left, in 1 minute you will find a supermarket and also many shops and cafes, and further in 5 minutes you will find yourself in the central square, after which begin the Sorrento bustling shopping streets, so beloved by tourists. From the square, you can walk to the right to the city's paid beaches and the port, from where you can take the ferry to Capri. I recommend this accommodation to everyone. It is suitable for both a relaxed holiday and an active one. Casa Mia was a wonderful part of our wonderful vacation. Thank you, Michele and Viviana!
