Radisson RED Galway

A beautiful hotel in fantastic condition. Plenty of parking supplied under the hotel.

Very few places for a ,eal in walking distance.

It was in a good location

It felt tacky

Everything was perfect, from check in, to lunch in the bar area, the staff were fantastic, the room and facilities - perfection thank you :)

Amazingly designed hotel, spacious and clean rooms, very kind staff and delicious breakfast!

The location is out of the city a bit. It’s that distance between not close enough to walk yet not too far to make any transport feel worth the time. You can get a taxi for 12 euros which would be fine if you didn’t need to do it 2-4 times a day. Busses are nearby but come sporadically. Maybe the hotel should have a shuttle.

The staff were friendly, professional and helpful. The hotel is new and all the facilities and decor are lovely. Great car park underneath hotel, easy to access and free for guest. Two bottles of water provided free of charge. Great coffee place next door - Coffee and Ground. Lovely yoghurt and fruit compote at breakfast but poor selection of fresh fruit salad - just water melon and grapefruit.

No gym or leisure facilities of any kind. The location is a bit barren so without leisure facilities you are stuck with walking streets and main roads. Poor selection of tea, no biscuits and no coffee machine in room - usually see a pod coffee machine in rooms in the Radisson. Hot buffet breakfast - bacon was dry and leatherlike (according to mum!), fried eggs were rubbery. Good selection of drinks at the bar including gin but only basic tonic which is a waste in good gin. No nice glasses for gin or any different garnish - if you have a great selection of gin at the bar then it is worth getting good glasses, speciality tonic (fever tree) and garnish - you will sell a lot more!

a bit like a travel lodge breakfast ok but not the best lounge can be better

It was spacious, good car parking; meals were OK but limited - the desert menu was quite thin

There was little to dislike

From arrival I found the reception staff very personable and friendly. Hotel was lovely, bedroom was perfect and couldn't ask for any more.

Only issue is the signage to the parking is Black writing on a red background which make it extremely difficult to read whilst driving.
