Himalayan Glory Inn

Excellent location and the lake facing rooms have excellent sunset views. The breakfast is good and the sky lounge is an excellent place to lounge around.

Cannot fault anything

The hotel's location was great for the main street of Pokhara, and just across the road from the lakeside. The breakfast was delicious and the view of the lake from the room and 5th floor restaurant was great.

We chose Himalayan Glory Inn after our trek in the mountains, and it was a perfect choice. The hotel is very clean and cozy, located right on the main street in Lakeside. The included breakfast at the 360 Sky Restaurant on the top floor was excellent. The staff were very friendly and responsive, always ready to help with anything we needed. There’s an elevator, which is super convenient when you’re carrying heavy backpacks. We also appreciated the constant hot water, reliable internet, and the electric kettle in the room. Highly recommended for a comfortable stay in Pokhara!

One thing to note: the soundproofing of the windows is poor. If you're sensitive to noise or go to bed early, the music from nearby restaurants can be quite noticeable. Luckily, it usually stops by late evening, so it didn't ruin our stay — but it's something to keep in mind.

The rooms are spacious in a central location near the lake, with a good view. The rooftop lounge serves good food, has great views and attentive staff.

Towels were not clean. Rooms will not be cleaned unless you inform them in advance, something I was not told during check in. It is very noisy till late at night due to a pub located next to the hotel, which plays very loud music till late night. There were a few safety concerns that needs to be addressed. The hotel gates were locked with a padlock and chain after 11pm till later in the morning. So does the reception. I came down at 5am for my tour pickup and the gate was locked. I had to go around looking for someone to open the gate till the security showed up. Guests must be informed of this in advance and told where they can locate the security guard. In the event of an emergency like fire or earthquake, guests may be trapped inside the hotel. Since the rooftop lounge is open to public, non-hotel guests using the same lift had access to guest floors. It was very concerning that room keys could be used to open another room. This is a safety concern which I addressed to the hotel but there was no follow up from them on this incident. It is a safety breach and needs to be addressed. The experience left me feeling insecure during my stay there.

The towels were stained and worn off , turned gray , also the rugs looked dirty. The breakfast was great

Comfortable, central location, lovely staff. Very noisy at night, but that’s to be expected for staying on Pokhara’s main drag.

Very spacious room with comfortable bed, nice decor and small balcony. Good location with a rooftop, where you can get breakfast with a good coffee - real one, not instant. Staff was really nice.

The bar (Laker's) next door was very noisy even with closed windows - live music, karaoke, all kind of noise in the middle of the night. I wouldn't recommend rooms facing this side.
