Sunset Beach Resort

The staff is friendly, and the dogs are very cute. The location is perfect as you can reach nice food spots and the beach very quickly, also it's right next to the sardine and turtle snorkeling.. Easy check in and check out and the location is also very beautiful.

AC was dripping a bit but other than that the room was very nice

This was such a special place with a clean and comfortable bed, beautiful beach facing pool and quietly located 2 mins walk away from the main junction of Moalboal. The staff was so helpful and friendly, creating a family feel. Highly recommend :)

Staff could not be more helpful. Owner is excellent, gives good advice and makes sure you get what you need. Took us to the Oslob whale shark tour herself and arranged airport transfers without adding the usual hotel markup. Just outside the restaurant area so is close but you dont need to hear loud music etc.

Water in the township can be unreliable and when it goes off there are a lot of water delivery trucks running around to deliver. Because of this you may find “rescheduling” shower time until the water arrives.

This hotel is very quiet, has a private parking, a shared kitchen and shady open dining area. It has a perfect location: not isolated but not too close to the noisy and cluttered center of the beach hamlet (many restaurants, diving services, massage activities and tourist shops). The pool of the hotel is just above the sea and the coral area. Breathtaking view on the Tanon Strait and the Negros Island. The Pescadores Ilset is visible on the left. There are many places to visit around at 1 to 2 hours driving distance (sand beaches, forest, ills, falls, springs....). The wifi is quite good. The staff is very nice and professional.

The water of the pool is too hot and not very clear. Why not to use the clear and fresh sea water with a small pump ?

Location & Staff

Shower was not working properly, poor hot water only luke warm. Bed was uncomfortable as old mattress, place needs money spent as very tired. Not great value for money. Only saving grace was the lovely ladies running it and the location on the water.

It's great location

It's nothing like on photos, furniture is falling apart, bathroom is hardly usable with big dirty barrel in the shower, and there are dogs on premises that are wery unpredictable be aware of them

The location is perfect. Few minutes to the bars and restraints. But you have steps from three property to the sea. And 10 meters from the coral and ledge. Amazing for snorkelling straight from the hotel.

The property is in need to an upgrade to the bathrooms and aircon. But you can sleep and shower and if location is your priority this hotel is perfect and reasonable price.
