Great location for exploring Matsumoto on foot. The onsen is especially nice. It was great having access to laundry facilities on site. The breakfast was also very good and all staff members were very friendly and helpful.

Breakfast was top notch! Staff was helpful with all my random requests. Clean, great facilities.

Onsen rule about no tattoos apparently applies even if you have small tattoos and cover them up? This is a bad rule; if you can cover them up they should allow people in, or at least have a specific timeslot when it is ok.
