Nature Stay Uluwatu

Room was lovely. Nice architecture. Drinks fridge was good. They helped me find some flowers for my arrival. Which was very appreciated.

The staff got a friend of theirs to drive me down the road. The driver charged me 3x the going rate. I would’ve expected staff to negotiate a decent rate for me. Walking back I had to navigate some angry dogs. It’s a little bit off the main road. There was construction next door, which meant no long sleep ins.

Het was een beetje geluid overlast door verbouwing van de buren. Maar het starte pas van 9.00 uur.

Very clean and comfortable room. Staff very friendly, there was a small kitchen area with a fridge full of water, beer etc to buy with an honesty box.

The only issue for us was the noise, through the evening you could hear things scuttling across the roof and in the walls (I think lizards or bugs) and the walls were thin so fell asleep listening to dogs barking and we were woken up early by the cockerels. But this is to be expected in a nature stay!

Comfortable bed. Big room. Air con was good.

Water in unsealed bottle each day. Not near any facilities. Does not supply breakfast. Hot water not long lasting. Limited English of hosts.

From the reviews we saw on booking we thought it was going to be a very clean place. But when we arrived the bedding was dirty with a lot of stains of different colors and size, which made us think that they weren’t changed from the previous people. We asked the responsible person to please change it and so they did but they didn’t apologize or say anything about the topic. Apart from these one of the receptionist who also changed the sheets had a very strong corporal smell so when he left we had to open all the windows. If these hadn’t happened the place would of had been great, with a good quality-price ratio.

Helpfull and friendy staff, location is good (we have our own motorbike), and room was clean, lot of towels + they clean every day! For this price the place was perfect!

Maybe a bit more active presence of staff at reception would be useful (or what’s app contact)
