Lovely two bedrooms

Location was great - close to shops, pubs and restaurants and close to the canal for a lovely walk.

The small bedroom didn’t have a mirror so it made it difficult getting ready for going out . We were 3 women trying to get ready with only one mirror.

The property was as pictured. The beds were comfy and the flat gets super warm super fast. There is a nice little dining area too. When I messaged the company they were quick to respond to, and apologise for our issue, the cleaners did attend the next day.

The smell of poo in the bathroom, there was faeces smeared in the walls. I bleached the tiles, bath, sink and toilet and still it smelt bad. Really dirty carpets, big stains, I even tried to use the carpet cleaner on them myself. The location didn’t feel safe. Just a Yale lock on the flat door and constant stream of people coming in and out made us feel very uneasy. Drafts coming in from every window and under the door means you’ll have to have the heating on a bit, the heating is good though. No dishcloths or tea towels. The rooms don’t have many plug sockets available either.

The apartment is lovely inside, very spacious and spotlessly clean. Beds were comfortable and plenty towels provided. Tea and coffee making facilities also provided. It was easy to get the keys from the lock box and the host provided all the information needed.
