La Rochelle Cottage

Great location, quiet but close to the main street. Compared to other guest houses in South Africa the cottage has a very high quality of the interior and electric devices (like fridge, TV etc). The washer dryer is a huge plus, it's great being able to wash a few items on a long South Africa trip. Very clean. Good value for money. Check in was contactless and hassle free, we stayed in at least 6 different guest houses on our South Africa road trip so we appreciated the much quicker self check in procedure compared to more "old fashioned" procedures.

For a start Jan was a fantastic host and very flexible with ourselves after we had to change dates. Also, he allowed us early access at 10am after we had booked our tour for 11.00. Was always available when needed and swift with response. The bungalow is in a safe, quiet street in a great spot only a couple minutes from the centre which was perfect for our stay. Would highly recommend.

Great location, just a few minutes walk from the main street. It was quiet and safe and we enjoyed our stay. Plenty of drinking water was provided which we appreciated.

Some more toilet paper and providing some essentials like shower gel, shampoo and washing powder would be a small improvement. The salt grinder was unfortunately broken but we were able to prepare a meal without this.

The property is very central and clean. The owner was very happy to accommodate any of our requests.

Everything was perfect. Exceptionally clean and a well equipped kitchen. The hosts went out of their way to ensure our comfort
