Tropical Beach Resort

Very good quiet location yet very close to jetty, market and restaurants. Nice clean basic huts, very nice and helpful hosts. I would stay again!

It’s a property in middle of jungle and if you’re a nature lover this one is absolutely amazing. From budget friendly stay to food it was wholesome good experience.

As its in Middle of jungle, if you don’t hire a cycle or a scooty it would be bit difficult getting alone through woods once the sunset hits. Market is around half to 1 km from property.

The room was dirty. Initially, we were given a room with spider webs, and it was not well-maintained. We requested a different room and were provided with another one, but they did not clean under the bed, leaving a lot of dust accumulated there. Additionally, the location is quite far inside, away from the main road. There is no proper tar road leading to the stay; instead, we have to travel on a sandy road full of potholes.

Location and staff is very friendly and he will guide you all the shortcuts near by places and provide all the facilities like renting bike or bicycle.

Property is not recommend for couples. Only for the boys it’s good. Matress is not soft. I request for couples it’s not good.

Could hear conversations/ sounds next door. Fan had to be pushed to start.

Gem of a place with exceptional food in a peaceful place. Rooms are cheap and as such basic but they have what you need. If you want a community vibe, good food, reasonably priced room somewhere quiet in nature this is your place.

Good things first - The resort is situated amidst a coconut tree plantation. It was calm and silent. Best place to relax. Wifi was working outside the room. The hosts were simple people with helpful nature. The bed linen was clean. When we were late to check out, they gave us some extra time to freshen up and get ready (considering no water in the washroom to get ready in the morning due to some motor repairs). They also allowed us to keep our bags in the common area since our ferry was in the afternoon. Overall you can skip this. Only if you are short of money or traveling on a very very low budget you may choose to stay here considering the island's hiked prices.

1. First, this place is a bit remote from the Neil Kendra market area, and difficult to locate if you are coming in the evening once it gets dark. Roads are pathetic and some two wheeler rental guys may not rent you their bikes if you are staying here considering the bad roads. 2. This is basically not a resort. It is just a couple of huts in a coconut tree plantation. 3. The room doesn't have most of the facilities they have mentioned in their listing. No hot water is available to take a bath. No water kettle for drinking water or if you want to make some black tea for yourself. 4. The fan wasn't working in our room and only when we insisted that we can't stay without the fan, since it is hot weather, we were given another room. But that wasn't clean by then, so we left the bags there and left. When we came back the room was ready. 5. The washroom wasn't clean, and lacked basic facilities. It is connected to the next room's washroom separated by a small wall that wasn't tall enough. Did not feel safe to take a bath here. Also, had to take a cold water shower since there wasn't any hot water facility. 6. In the morning when we woke up, we had to go to watch the sun rise, but to get ready there was no water available in the washroom. When asked they said the motor is getting repaired. Overall we wouldn't recommend this stay.
