Tropical Beach Resort

The place is amazing once you are there. The kitchen serves you reasonable food. I had taken the cottage with bamboo walls though they have few cottages made of brick and concrete. The brick and concrete structures are swanky, air conditioned, bigger and obviously cost more. Let me tell about the cottage i stayed that did not have solid walls. The noise of the neighbours eaily travel to you and vice versa. so keep your tone down. The fan in my room did not work at a constant speed due to voltage problems. The room is small and space is inadequate. The bathroom is ok and just functional. Mosquitoes bit badly at night. The sheets were not clean. There is only one 3 pin electrical socket far away from bed. If you dont carry a multipin only one device can be plugged for charging. You can enjoy the atmosphere here during the day, have food from the attached restaurant. You are away from the touristy crowd so if you want to enjoy by being yourself with your folks you will be undisturbed. I saw 3 cottages like mine occupied by foreign nationals. I made friends with a solo traveller from Germany. There are positives but there are negatives too.

From the Jetty it is a 15 min walk, but it is not easy to find when you go there for the first time. Too may turns and small road and no proper markings- you may be lost. First time please take a auto or cab. It is a 10min walk to the main road and you can hire a scooter, have tea/coffee, buy essentials etc. There are shops as soon as you hit the main road. This is a positive (dont mind I am writing this is under what I dont like- actually I like this part).

Ubytování by bylo dobré, kdyby se ty dvě ženské netvářily na všechny příchozí ošklivě. Pořád koukali do mobilu a když se jich někdo na něco zeptal, tak se tvářily otráveně. Byli líné a pomalé. V koupelně jsou obrovský pavouci.

If you are (as we did) looking for a Robinson-style accommodation, you will like this place. It was exactly as we expected and we loved it. When the birds wake you up in the morning...unforgetable! The bungalows are about 5 minutes walk through the jungle to the market (bring a torch for the night) which is very lively in the morning and evening with good, but simple dinning options and shopping.

Very low water pressure in the shower, therefore we used the bucket.

Good jungle type resort..in complete nature lap.

Kitchen will be closed by 8.30 9 and till morning 9 u won't get anything

Le rapport qualité prix est très bien pour les routards. Nous avons aimé l’emplacement dans la forêt (mais à 5 minutes à pied du marché). l’accueil des gars. De plus ils nous ont aidés à trouver un scooter à louer car aucun n’étaient disponibles chez les loueurs près du port. Le lit était très confortable. Rencontres faciles avec les autres guests. Wifi dispo car nous n’avions aucun réseau sur l’île.

Attention pour ceux qui sont phobiques avec le petit règne animal 😁

Остров шикарный. Мне он понравился больше Хэвлока. Что касается отеля - стандартное бунгало. В целом неплохое (никто ведь не ожидает от бунгало каких-то суперудобств), но далеко не идеальное.

Нет горячей воды (впрочем, тут она не очень и нужна). Периодически гаснет свет и вырубается интернет, да и со светом интернет работает не всегда. До пляжа далеко.
