Valletta's Charming Loft Accommodation

Decent location, and the cleaning lady was very helpful and sweet.

One of the worst places I have stayed in a while. • The lock code provided by the owner was incorrect, and he did not answer the phone, leaving us waiting outside for quite some time. • The downstairs bedroom and walls were covered in black mold, and the air was extremely damp. The suggested solutions (a purifier and air dryer) were nowhere near sufficient to make it a comfortable environment. • Several items were broken, including the missing shower knob and a kitchen cabinet door that was falling off.

La serratura della porta d'ingresso è difettosa, forse andrebbe sostituita (pare sia stato già segnalato da altre persone); Il sifone della doccia ha un getto molto debole, probabilmente otturato, abbiamo dovuto utilizzare il doccino, anche la manopola della doccia sarebbe da sostituire; Non è presente un adattatore europeo: sarebbe necessario dato che l'asciugacapelli messo a disposizione non ha la presa adatta; La cosa però più grave è l'umidità della camera da letto. Lo spazio si trova sotto il livello della strada (seminterrato) e questo non è evidenziato da nessuna parte. Sono presenti deumidificatore e purificatore d'aria (che ci è stato chiesto di svuotare all'occorrenza) ma il disagio purtroppo rimane. Nota a margine: non ci è stata data indicazione chiara per lo smaltimento di rifiuti (in casa non ci sono contenitori appositi), solo dopo averlo segnalato ci è stata fornita la scheda con i giorni di raccolta. Nel complesso troppo caro per il servizio offerto.

The loft has been reformed in a very attractive way. It has three separate spaces for cooking and eating, relaxing and sleeping.

However, a few practical details could be improved: The bedroom space and bathroom, being in a semi-basement level, were impossible to ventilate, except for a small extraction fan in the shower, and air conditioning would not reach there. The very large TV didn't have any channels set (not even local TV) and the configuration was set to Polish. The kitchen space was large, but without any direct light (only the central light on your back if you are cooking), and didn't have some essentials like a coffee pot (a French press or cafetiere would have been enough) or a coffee machine. Only a kettle. Not a teapot either.

Location is amazing!

Rain shower doesn’t work well and despite all the devices to keep the air clear in the bedroom, it feels damp. An iron would be practical as well.

It’s real very beautiful 3 levels apartment. The same like in pictures, even better. All clean, very good kitchen with beautiful cups. Beach is next to apartment. Pet friendly is very important for me because I’m travelling with 2 my African grey parrots.

Bedroom’s window needs blackout curtains. And why I didn’t give 10. I got wrong code for entrance locker, and owner didn’t answer to me (I got right code in next day early morning). Luckily cleaner lady was walking next to apartment and she opened door for me.

Perfect location for a conference, very central and the sea is just down the road. Many restaurants and cafés around. Easy check-in and check out.

Rather dark flat and slightly damp building. It can get quite noisy in this area.

The apartment was conveniently close to my location at the University of Malta, and I thoroughly enjoyed exploring the city. The overall location was amazing, with incredible scenes to take in. Valletta truly is a mesmerizing place, and I fell in love with Malta's natural beauty and scenic views.

The very old structure had very unpleasant odours, and the basement bedroom felt a bit suffocating. Additionally, mobile signal reception was poor due to the basement location, which caused some communication issues.

The bedroom is comfortable

Zero noise cancelling, good luck if you are a light sleeper. The door lock is horrible and very hard ti open, each time when we go back we will need 5 to 10 min to open the door, 2 times doing that under the heavy rain.
