Villa Amor Perfeito

Perfecte accomodatie waar werkelijk aan alles is gedacht. Nog nooit zo een vriendelijke hosts gehad. Supermarktje om de hoek, kleine zaak maar volledig aanbod incl brood. Je kan ook naar het centrum dichtbij gaan ontbijten of n lekker gebak eten. Kom je zonder auto; er is op werkdagen een bus van Unir (2516) maar niemand schijnt te weten om hoe laat. Alleszins een bus om 18u40 aan de Mercado Vila do Conde. Daar staan vaak ook taxi's. Vila do conde is meer dan een bezoek waard!

Alles was super

Vi var på den centrale Camino, hvor dette sted lå rigtig fint i forhold til. Vi blev mødt af Filipe, som var utrolig venlig og gæstfri. Vil anbefale dette overnatningssted til alle som overvejer’

Adorei tudo. Desde a simpatia e amabilidade do Sr. Filipe, a localização excelente, fica perto de tudo, à limpeza das instalações, e com tudo o que é necessário, desde máquina de café, microondas, forno, frigorífico, chaleira, sanduícheira. Senti-me em casa. A repetir sem dúvida alguma.

Nada a apontar.

It was the most luxurious stay during the entirety of my Camino thus far. Owner couldn’t have been nicer. I had a home-prepared dinner courtesy of his family (with a farm fresh egg!) When he realized I had inadvertently wandered off the Coastal Route and onto the Central, he drove me back to the coast the next morning.

Cozy small downstairs apartment in a suburban home several kms from downtown: ample street parking, dogs and chickens in this otherwise quiet area. Most welcoming hosts always eager to please.

5pm check-in time is way too late, as 10am check-out time is too early.

Breakfast was not included; however, there was a micro kitchen in the apartment, and I carry add-water foods with me, so that worked out well. I arrived by bicycle during the March storms of 2025. I had expected to stash my bike in the carport, but my host himself rolled my bike down the ramp into the apartment so it would remain dry and out of the weather. (The unit is a cozy little "granny flat" in the remodeled garage under the private home.) The bed was extremely comfortable; there was a second bedroom for a larger group; the shower was promptly hot and abundant. The wifi connection was strong. I cancelled my caminho because of the storms; my host let me check out later because I had to wait till my wife arrived with a car to carry the bike home. The place is not convenient to the beach, and that bummed me out until I discovered how wonderful the accomodation was. I wound up not missing the water at all. I absolutely, heartily, recommend this place. (I refer to "my host" because I want to respect his privacy.)

The weather could have cooperated, but that's beyond the purview of this review.

The gate to enter wasnt the best, but it wasnt a problem.
