Beach House Margate

Sfundo the host took good care of us and provided us with everything we needed. The place has a nice beach view in the backyard and is located right where the Margate Coach to the airport picks up which made our stay and movement less stressful.

We didn’t even get to stay at the place, on arrival after having phoned earlier to confirm late check in we were told there was a structural problem with the property and the owner had arranged alternative place next door to the initial property. Didn’t think much of it and appreciated that he didn’t leave us stranded. The owner had sad the next day we will be able to check in only to have him waste our time moving from the other place only to be turned away at the gate after being ignored and him not picking up the our calls and having to wait more than 30 mins at the gate. I was so angry because there was no need to move us from the alternative place promising us the place is ready to receive us. And he threw his employee under the bus because he left him to answer to us while he didn’t even know the owner had lied to us and said there’s structural issues at the property. The truth was he took multiple bookings for the same place. If you want to be stressed during your vacation. Go ahead and book this place. He then sent a message apologising the next morning still lying some more. Was very disappointed in this guy 🚮
