We paid for an upgrade to a garden room. Exceptionally comfortable bed, good quality bed linen and pillows. Toiletries supplied in the bathroom.

No dressing table in the room, difficult for ladies to sort hair and make up as nowhere to plug in hairdryer near a mirror. Breakfast was very poor. No pastries, fruit or yoghurts etc, cereal etc Just one choice of traditional breakfast, either full English or a choice of eggs with various toppings. However The English breakfast was served nice and hot with good quality produce.

Food good, breakfast menu excellent, many varied choices. Helpful and welcoming staff. Lovely comfortable room. Gorgeous toiletries in many varieties. Hot chocolate sachets with lots of hot drinks choices, biscuits and brandy!

Didn’t appreciate the early morning noisy beer delivery but appreciate they probably have no control over timing of this.
