The Boardwalk Hotel

The location of the hotel is very convenient, less than 5-minute walk to the beach or to the bay.

The staff was super nice, but didn't share a lot of info like what the name is of the place to get free rentals and how that works. Our couch/ bed was broken. They brought up a blow up mattress. Our blender didn't work after we already bought stuff for smoothies. We paid for parking, but had a van that didn't fit in all the parking areas, but we weren't assigned a parking spot so we were so worried about leaving. With that said it's in a great spot next to mission Bay and the boardwalk. We loved that both beds were king sized and the 50's style decoration. The toilet was interesting. It was a bidet with a warm seat .

My teen son loved all the sports equiptment that was at our disposal.

Clean and updated property. Rooms are small, as indicated, but while not crowded, are flush with amenities. Great location, walkable to beach, bay, and all things Mission Beach.

Perfect for what I needed

We loved this room and definitely will stay next time we are in San Diego

Just a slight moldy smell - apparently typical at humid climates, which I’m not used to. But I have s super sensitive nose.

Really good spot. Biggest bonus is the FREE rentals included; bicycle, beach gear, surf , you name it they got it.
