Maison Villa Angela

The property was beyond beautiful, gorgeous garden and our room was perfect! Honestly one of the nicest and heart warming places we have stayed. Located in Sant'Agata sui Due Golfi a beautiful town around 20 mins from the centre of Sorrento. Antonella helped us with the bus stop location and timings. The bus was so convenient and a gorgeous scenic route. There were numerous fantastic restaurants and bars located in the town in which Antonella also gave us recommendations.

Maison Villa Angela We have been travelling Europe for 6 weeks- Maison Villa Angela has been the the absolute stand out property. The location is perfect only 25 minutes above Sorrento by bus - when you arrive you are in this oasis of calm - much needed in our case. The Villa has a lovely garden and excellent pool, our room was a good size, beautifully decorated and very clean. What makes this property stand out is the wonderful family that hosted us. Antonella and her lovely parents. Nothing was too much bother, they helped us out when we had a transportation issue, feed us amazing Italian treats by the pool and had genuine local knowledge about tours and restaurants which all proved to be excellent. If you want to experience real Italian ‘La dolce vita’ stay at this property.

Very central to walk into town and perfectly positioned to visit Sorrento and the Amalfi coast. Our room had a beautiful terrace/patio which we really enjoyed. The gardens of the property are a delight to sit in too. There is a pool which we didn’t use. The accommodation is spotless all over. There is private parking too.

There was nothing to dislike. The room we had was up steps if you have mobility problems.

Overall, we were delighted with our stay at Maison Villa Angela! The beautifully decorated room was quiet, comfortable and exceptionally clean, and we enjoyed having a small kitchen for making meals to eat on the private terrace. We appreciated the coupon for breakfast pastry and cappuccino at the neighborhood pasticceria, and also enjoyed the delicious tomato salad and marinated peppers prepared and shared by the innkeeper. Antonella even brought us fresh squeezed orange juice from her father’s orange trees—such a treat!

We had a bit of trouble locating the villa when we arrived in town, but when we phoned Antonella met us near the main road and led us to the inn.

Beautiful clean great location Very welcoming family to their home and BnB we were welcomed with freshly squeezed orange and lemon juice from their garden orchard. Along with some delicious pastries. Our hostess, Antonella, was absolutely lovely and very helpful, as were her mother and father. Couldn't do enough for us. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable with a fridge and beverage making facilities. The pool and garden are delightful.

Very little not to like about this place. A couple of observations. Our room would have benefitted from some drawer space. Hanging space was fine but a few more hangers would have been useful. Also, breakfast, a coffee and a croissant was provided at local facility rather than on site. This is a new venture for the owners. Hopefully, in due course, they will consider hosting breakfast on site.

The property was well maintained, clean, and beautiful. It is also in a nice location, and close to local restaurants!
