Cosy Studio Cottage

Chocolate box cosy cottage, finished to a high standard, very tranquil, but close to the showground which was perfect for our needs. It was very comfortable, excellent shower room and well equipped kitchenette .....WiFi and phone signals were really good too. Thankyou for a pleasant stay.

We stayed during a very warm weekend and the room was like a sauna...would definitely recommend a fan.... We had 2 dogs with us and although there is a gated area by the other cottage this one leads straight onto the drive, which was fine for us, but something to think about if you want to keep the door open or sit outside. There was also some confusion over payment per night for each dog, the host was very amicable and sorted it with us for which we were very grateful but something to check before your stay.

Great location, very peaceful and quiet, fantastic grounds, fixtures, and fittings of the highest standard, excellent finish, and very relaxing, linen and towels great quality too.

Excellent shower room and comfortable bed. Quiet and bucolic setting beside handsome stone farmhouse. Welcoming guests and very clean accommodation.

A great base for exploring local sights & delights, but if I was tired only outside could I sit comfortably.

We were visiting family in the area, and this place was conveniently located for us. What a sweet little place this turned out to be. Not overly large, but with a very functional kitchenette, well appointed bathroom and lovely view out over the fields. We were sorry we couldn’t stay longer.

Very easy access into the room as it is all on the ground floor with direct access from the driveway / courtyard. Very quiet, unless the sheep get vocal. Almost no passing traffic (it is on a dead-end lane that leads only to a farm). Very comfortable bed. During the day-time there was lots of ambient light. In the evening the heating operated when the temperature dropped. Kitchen facilities were adequate for preparing simple meals; there was a microwave, air-fryer, and small fridge, plus crockery and cutlery. Decent shower. Clean. The room didn't feel cramped. Solid flooring, so no manky carpet. The place lived-up to its billing as "cosy". Overall I had a comfortable, pleasant, hassle-free, stay and I'd be happy to stay here again if the occasion arouse.

There was nothing to dislike. So, instead, here are some things people might like to know: This is a place you go to get away from bustle; it isn't quite in the middle of nowhere but there is nothing at all "happening" nearby unless it involves sheep or birds, or the forces of nature. I think it'd be suitable for lovers wanting some undisturbed time together, or for people who want a very quiet location in which to recuperate, or for anybody who wants to feel "at home" before and after each day's activities. The fridge is just about large enough to hold the rations for a day, but not large enough to keep several days' supply of fresh food so you'll need to be able to go out for provisions.

Lovely quiet location and everything needed for a short stay. Lovely touches like cereal and milk and a small gift to remember our stay 😊. Great place to walk dogs, and local fast food did deliver. Not too far from Lincoln city centre.

Cosy Studio was perfect for our short break and I wouldn't hesitate to book there again when we are in the area.
