This beautiful hotel is your safe comfortable clean place to stay in Kathmandu! Rooms are spacious with modern bathrooms and hot water 24h. The buffet breakfast is delicious! U will find many sitting spots in the complex where u can work peacefully or just enjoy the quiet atmosphere. Attached to it is the nunnery and also a beautiful garden. It’s only 6m walk to the Stupa. Near the entrance there is a new clinic in case u need to do some checks. Many local restaurants are nearby. The price is modest and funds the nunnery 🙏🙏🙏

Dondrub Guest House is my chosen "home away from home" when I am in Kathmandu. It is serene, friendly, clean, and the people are wonderful. The rooms are simple and very nice--just what I was looking for. I have met some fascinating people amongst the guests and have made some nice friends. Thank you!!!

I am SO appreciative to have found Dondrub Guest House. It is like both a jewel and an oasis. The people there are so kind and attentive. As a solo traveler, I felt very at home and safe. I made new friends also. The room is cozy and tidy, the food nutritious and delicious. It is located in a quiet area that is a short walk to the Boudha Stupa. I plan another stay there and highly recommend Dondrub Guest House! Thank you!

There is nothing not to like!

The room and toilet were clean and odorless, the mattress was firm enough, and the pillowcases and sheets were so white that I couldn't bear to dirty them! Breakfast was provided and nutritionally balanced. The hotel itself was clean and tidy, with a Buddhist temple and a small park for meditation and walking. It was about a ten-minute walk from the Mangwan Pagoda. I would choose this accommodation next time.The most important thing is that the hotel has air conditioning, so you don't have to worry about being overheated in the summer.

The hotel itself is located in a residential community, and there are frequent noises from cars, children and stray dogs from day to night.
