Varandas do Funchal

Great apartment fully furnished and equipped. Close to old town and Marina, also closeby large grocery . As during our week in December it was mostly stormy and rainy we didn’t use the pool but loved the balcony and hammock there. Parking in garage and washing machine were most convenient for a longer stay.

It was unheated without no radiator or other external heater so it was quite cold and humid but probably not a problem during a sunnier period

Die Wohnung liegt in einer top Lage. Sehr sauber und sicher. Es gibt rein gar nichts zu bemängeln.

Het appartement had een geweldige locatie, op wandelafstand van de oude stad. Een mooi, groot, rustig zwembad. Het appartement is echt groot en biedt 2 slaapkamers. Alles is voor handen. Alex en zijn vrouw zorgen voor extra handdoeken en lakens. Ze waren geweldig.

Central location. Clean apartment with all facilities.

At the top of a very steep hill, only suitable for the very fit. Pool area needs alot of attention. Loungers in poor condition no sun umbrellas. . The apartment had been made into a 2 bedroom by boxing in the front of the apartment which cut off alot of the natural light leaving it dark inside. Hard to justify the price.

Really nice balcony and pool area. Comfortable bed and lounge.

No shower head up high (shower must be hand held). Very dark inside flat - dark curtains and metal shutters that obscured the windows. Mosquitos. Very steep hill to walk there.

The apartment was located on a very steep hill with further steps to reach the apartment building. This information was not present in the description. There are very noisy building works taking place directly opposite the appartment building. This building work was begun in June 2024 and this was not mentioned by the owner in the property description when I booked in October 2024.
