The bed was very comfortable, and the place was immaculate. Everything we needed.

The lounge area was a bit cramped with a large coffee table in the middle of the room. Very little bench space but I had seen that in the photos so this was not a surprise. Unfortunately, we didn't get to use the outdoor area as we arrived back to late in the day and the house shaded this area. To be fair this area felt a little hemmed in, would be nice to have a bit more outdoor space. Although exact instructions had been given to find the key, being black the holder wasn't immediately obvious and then the holder fell apart while we tried to retrieve the key.

It is always a bonus finding a nice property that allows pets. Semi rural setting.

Location might be a little out of the way, depending on what you are in Christchurch for - it suited us quite well with a 20 min pretty straightforward drive from accommodation to where we needed to be. Apple Maps however took us a quite roundabout way to get there the first time!

Everything. The amount of effort the host has put into getting the details sorted is amazing. There were lots of extra goodies - walnuts, apricot and raspberry jam, as well as biscuits.There is a good selection of easy reading. The iron and washing machine came in really handy. Everything about this place was easy and it is really well thought out. We were here for a wedding at Langdales and you couldn’t get closer. Great value for money . We enjoyed some short walks too and saw sheep, horses, hares pūkeko and more. It was a wonderful environment
