Yala Grand Homestay

We hebben een fantastisch verblijf gehad. De eigenaars waren zeer vriendelijk, de kamer was comfortabel. De safari die we via hen hebben geboekt was uitstekend (de eigenaar is zelf gids). Ook het eten was heerlijk. Aanrader

Kasun and his wife were really lovely. Incredible food, air con rooms with hot water. Food great. Did tour of national park and saw leopards. Then did Mirissa and to Colombo. Very knowledgeable and really enjoyed our whole experience.

We loved our stay at Yala Grand Homestay. The rooms impress with tasteful interior design, the place is peacefully located under palm trees next to rice paddies and the owners are so helpful and friendly, they will make your stay a great experience. Kasun is very knowledgeable about Sri Lankan wildlife and can take you on safari if you want. He is also a guide/driver for traveling his home country and can give you great recommendations and advice. His wife is a great cook and will make you feel right at home.

Parfait ! Très très bon accueil de la part de nos hôtes ! Ils se sont plié en 4 pour nous ! Ils peuvent vous préparé à dîner mais nous avions oublié de prévenir : il nous a conduit dans un super petit restaurant. Il a également assuré le trajet jusqu'au prochain step ! Modern clean and comfortable large room with excellent facilities in a very safe, quiet and scenic area surrounded by rice paddies. Wonderful hosts went out of their way to make our stay very enjoyable. Access to Yala is easy and the host is a top rated local guide and driver who can arrange safaris and trips to anywhere in Sri Lanka. Breakfast was delicious and a surprise birthday cake on arrival for my wife was extra special. 😀

Nirosha and Kasun provide a wonderful home from home, including a surprise birthday cake and celebration for me when we arrived. Kasun had already been our driver for a week, and accompanied us on a safari in Yala - a real bonus as he is a wildlife officer there. We also visited a nearby archaeological site that Nirosha helped excavate. The food was exceptional - plentiful and delicious. Especially welcoming for our teenage son - it was hard to leave!

We stayed with Kasun and Nirosha and they were amazing hosts. We were met with ginger tea and pancakes and had a big spacious room and bathroom to ourselves. Kasun organised a safari for us also where he came as out guide! He was amazing as our driver as well, he brought us to the many places we needed to go! The homestay was only about 30mins drive from Yala national park and we had a brilliant day on safari as well. They were so accommodating with everything we asked for.
