Harries Lodge ocean

It’s was clean and comfortable. It had all the amenities we needed as a family. Towels and kitchen equipment we needed. A full fridge freezer was also provided. Communication about the property and how to check in were easy to follow. The local beach was very nice and sandy.

The swimming pool was a little cold. My 2 year old son got very cold after only a few minutes in the pool so we had to get out. The beach was a short drive away (you probably could walk there but we had young children) which then meant parking charges at the beach.

Harries lodge cottage D4 situated at the end of Dolphin lane in Ocean heights leisure park in New Quay Wales is a GREAT cottage to rent. It is highly comfortable, crystal clean with a fully equipped kitchen including a big fridge & freezer, toaster, cooker, gas oven, & microwave etc. The master bedroom has it's own toilet. The shower is hot and every room have radiators. We rented the cottage end of March 2024 and despite the low temperatures, rain, hail, wind we always felt warm. The comfort that the cottage offers allowed us to replenish ourself from an average of 6 hours walk each day. Other advantages of Harries cottage D4 are the massive windows in the living room. So you can sit cosily whilst enjoying watching the changing colours of the sky and hearing swirling wind. Also there is a very good wifi connection, a big screen TV, a terrasse and a ceiling cooling fan to stay cool in warm weather. A VERY COMFORTABLE AND CLEAN COTTAGE.

All good. A small hand soap in the bathroom would feel luxurious ;)

Booked as a last-minute getaway over the weekend as our boiler had packed in at home. The caravan was lovely and warm and had everything we needed for our break. The beds were so comfy, my husband and I both slept like logs! The caravan is located in a lovely little quiet corner of the site and only about a 5 minute drive away from the centre of New Quay. The owner was very responsive and accommodating despite us booking on the day as our arrival. Looking forward to staying again soon in the future!

Although it was an older model, the caravan was very clean, comfortable and well kept. The site the van was on was lovely, and just a few minutes drive from New Quay itself with beautiful views looking over the sea. We didn't use any of the facilities but the clubhouse looked lovely with a great park for kids and 2 seasonal pools. Great communication with the owner, I would definitely book this accommodation again!

Not necessarily a negative, but the door lock needs to be adjusted or updated. Locking the door was fine, but it needed a bit of jiggling to unlock it and open the door. This did not impact our stay in any way as once locked it was secure.
