Goede locatie, dichtbij / op loopafstand van v&a waterfront.

Kamers en vooral sanitair zijn schoon maar mogen wel een upgrade krijgen. Enigszins beperkt ontbijt vergeleken met andere plekken in zuid Afrika.

The swimming pool and dining/seating areas were a real good touch. The staff was exceptional. Best staff members at a Guest House that Ive encountered.

No sound proofing. I was woken up multiple times every night with sounds echoing through the entire house like people knocking on doors at 1am or the kitchen sounds early in the morning. I could hear everything from my room. The rain falling on the tiles next to my room also made so much noise i barely slept. Parking is also a main issue for me. Please make it very clear when people make bookings that there will be struggles to find parking after certain times. I had to park almost 2 blocks away 7pm at night.

Very nice older location with lots of charm. I never got to enjoy the pool area, as it was cold and rainy while I was in Cape Town, but that amenity was just beautiful. Breakfast each morning was made to order, along with fresh fruit and cereal. The staff was very nice and helpful.

The bathrooms need a bit of an updating, particularly the faucets, but normal with an older property

Breakfast is served in a beautiful garden-like setting. The staff was exceptionally nice. It was about a 10 or 15 minute walk down to the waterfront and the V&A and harbor/canal tours and hop on hop of station. Also close to a Woolworths market and several restaurants.I rented a car for the week I was there and they gave me a spot to park it right in front of the hotel just off the street.

Although the hotel itself was safe and I felt safe walking down to the main road in the waterfront, the area was right on the edge of a sketchy area. I wouldn't leave anything in my car overnight.

Do not recommend for teleworking (wifi did not work). In the bathroom the window could be fixed (it opened onto a smoking area and cigarette smell coming in) and tub water came up yellow but I imagine this is for eco friendly. Breakfast options could be expanded.
