Location is great, nice host, very clean and big apartment

Very noisy area - there is a fruits market on the same street and banging noise and shouting of setting up the stalls starts at 6AM. Also 2 streets away there is open bar area with really loud music until exactly 12PM. So for our 3 nights stay the only quiet time was between 12PM and 6AM. Great apartment but keep this in mind.

The apartment was very clean, comfortable and cosy. All amenities were provided by the host. The provision of Washing machine was something very convenient. The host Angelica was kind and responsive, she provided us with very useful tips for exploring the city, transportation from the airport as well as kindly accepted earlier check-in. The apartment has excellent location, just 1 minute from piazza Duomo and on the picturesque fruit market street, just a corner from the fish market and all the restaurants and shops were on a walking distance. Piazza Duomo is 1-2 minutes and Etna street is in a walking distance. Everything from historical sights to shopping locations is reachable by foot. Self check-in is also something very convenient.

The apartment is in an old building and there was no lift. It is quite challenging if you carry a lot of luggage, as you have to climb the stairs up to the top floor. However, we acknowledge the situation and that the flat is in a historical building and probably all buildings around also lack elevator. Also WiFi connection wasn’t always strong and TV signal was loading from time to time while watching.
