Beautiful Seaside Cottage Wicklow town

Very convenient location just off the N11, on the beach, only a few mins walk to Wicklow town Very comfortable and peaceful property - beautifully decorated and was equipped with everything you would need

Nothing, it exceeded our expectations - the photos don’t do the beauty of the property justice - we were beyond pleased with the setting

Lovely big living and dining room with well equity kitchen.

Off street parking and outdoor seating area.

A little further than expected walk from downtown Wicklow.

Location was fabulous Ruth was very nice and answered any questions we had. Had a lovely time

Super easy check-in. Prompt reply from the host when we couldn’t find the TV remote & it was returned within 15 mins. Good water pressure. Very close to a playground. Beachfront, beautiful sunrise views!

It’s a nice little cottage and I could see how it might be more inviting in summer, but in January it felt a bit isolated and run down. It’s in an odd spot - close to a bridge in what seems to be an industrial area. Considering the price, I would hope the general maintenance/condition be of a higher standard - the toilet is loose, there’s a detached plug, some peeling paintwork, broken blinds, extra bedding dumped on top of cabinets etc.

The cottage was just as homely and cosy as the pictures showed and the description was accurate. Despite the weather being cold and dark and the location being right near the beach the cottage was warm and so inviting we hardly went outside 🥰 Ruth the owner had set up everything pre our arrival and was only a text away if we had any problems or questions. Would definitely recommend staying there and will hopefully return this year for another stay at the Murrough Cottage🥰
