Merta Ubud Homestay

I enjoyed the view from my room, which overlooked an amazing rice field. It was far from man-made noise and closer to the soothing sounds of nature. Waking up early to the sounds of roosters and dogs was quite an enjoyable experience. The owner's hospitality was wonderful, and I appreciated the warm breakfast each morning during my 7-day stay.

However, the bed pillows could be improved. They didn't provide good support for my sleep, and there was a noticeable smell from the cheap detergent used.

Clean, comfortable, quiet room with a balcony overlooking a rice paddy. Good breakfast. Free wifi in the room. Well equipped bathroom with hot shower.

It is a bit too far to walk to the center of Ubud, although this was no problem for me.

The property was actually amazing. Everything matches the pictures. The stuff was very nice, kind, polite and helpful… the breakfast was really delicious. Overall, this was splendid. The area is very calm too( and safe).

There are many insects outside you should close the doors and windows before sleeping. This is actually the case in all Bali not only here so be prepared for that.

the property is located next to parq and other nice restos but a bit far from ubud center, which is ideal if you're looking for quiet. i love the private kitchen and balcony overlooking a nice paddy field. fast wifi, clean bathroom, and clean room. need to tell the owner if you wanna have your room cleaned, but they're a nice bunch :)

if they have vegan breakfast i'll rate this 10/10

What an unexpected find! Such a lovely hidden away, feels-like-home home stay in Ubud, very quiet and peaceful, spacious and comfy

Everything was perfect 🤩 The location, people and the apartment which is such amazing. Imagine a view on the rice fields. The bed is prime, the environment is so peaceful and calm. Love the breakfast too. I will come back for sure.

The terrace was amazing, room spacious , bed is comfy, the owners a supper friendly and supportive! The place is right to Home Bali with delicious healthy food and next door to PARQ with a lot of shops and restaurants.
