Stable Yard Cottage

Couldn’t fault it..

We were really suprised by the size of the property which was much larger than expected. Lovely outlook over the fields. Easy parking. Central to exploring the area. Lots of places to visit. Fresh eggs every day. We would certainly return.

Lovely & spacious cottage with amazing views. Spa with sauna & hot tub (extra charge) was also amazing. Cooking on the Aga takes a bit of getting used to, but it kept the place lovely and warm together with the log burner.

We thought there was a dishwasher and there wasn't. I think they were in the process of installing one though.

Lovely traditional clean accommodation, good sized bedrooms with very comfortable beds, shower is powerful and a good size. Large dining table. Good internet connection. Quiet location, central for visiting the local area.

The location was great it was central to just about all the places you would visit Coldstream, Lauder, Duns, Galashiels Berwick-upon-Tweed was only 30 minutes away and there were loads of walks all around. the hosts were great anything you needed from groceries to directions

nothing really even hit lucky with the weather

This was self catering Handy pub restaurant close by

The only thing missing for our short overnight stay was....... washing up liquid

beautifully clean lovely garden very welcoming
