GBHotel is amazing! We loved the selection of drinks and snacks in the lobby. Each night, we would sit in the lobby with a beer and play a board game, which was actually a highlight of our trip.
Slightly away from the main area (15m walk) which didnt really bother us as we preferred the quiet but may bother others
USGBI really liked this hotel. The lobby has a good vibe with vinyls playing, free hot drinks and pastries. It’s close to my favourite coffee shop, Kurasu also and the location is great for getting around (few minutes from Karasuma Oike station) while still being peaceful. Room was also bigger than I expected (relative to usual Japan sizes). Very soundproof too. We were by the elevator which I was worried about, but I didn’t hear anything. They have 6 first come first serve bikes!
No where nearby/open to get breakfast (not their fault) - there’s only so many pastries you can eat.
GBLovely staff, nice lounge area with free coffees, pastries and board games! Loved our room - slept well as it was so comfortable, quiet and dark. Shower was best ever! Great location for everything we wanted to visit. Would recommend!

GBInterior decor was amazing. Rooms were a decent size and bathrooms were bigger than others I had which was really nice!! Good location right next to a 7/11 and a station with good links for the city!!
Some building work going on across from the hotel, which isn’t their fault, but as my window faced out to it, it was annoying.

No laundry service but there was a laundry service store close by and rooms were a bit too small but you could put luggage under the bed which was helpful
