You have nearly everything you could need in an excellent location - in the heart of the old town with a short walk to a supermarket. Giuseppi was an excellent host, very friendly and welcoming, and keen to point out he is available 24/7 in a case of necessity.

I could have used an iron and ironing board - when in Italy you should not look bedraggled!

The lady doing check-in for us was very collaborative, trying to help with whatever needed. The host was very collaborative on WhatsApp. Location.

Things to improve: Place glasses, cups in the room (plastic ones were already available, but who drinks from plastic?). Water pressure on the sink was very poor, but maybe this is Bari policy (we noticed the same low water pressure in restaurants). The shower was OK. Humidity on the floor, on the side of the bed, mold on the walls. Plastic hangers rack could be replaced by some small cabinets. The bed linen looked like it was not changed from the other guest to us. Local people and scooters making noises.

I have to say that it's a cute place in a good location, which is close to the entrance of the old neighborhood.

But there're some serious issues. 1 Huge and almost nonstop noise coming from inside the wall behind the bed, it's very difficult to fall asleep. I tried to contact the owner the first night (along with the hot water issue that night) and he's not responsive when he's clearly online on WhatsApp and after countless messages and calls, he just replied he's sorry. I noticed the noise issue right after I got there and he promised that it'd stop at night, which was obviously not true and the noise continued throughout my stay. 2 There's a very bright street lamp right outside the (frosted glass) door and it's too visible at night when you're trying to sleep.

The location is excellent and it has nice decor. Very comfortable bed.

Nobody was there to welcome us or let us in when we arrived although we told them what time we would arrive. There were no instructions on how things work, we had to send a message to find out where to find the Wi-Fi password. The place is new so my comments will hopefully help the owner in future. The room could do with some bedside lamps as the lighting is extremely bright. I understand it’s not a hotel but it would be good to have some sort of booklet available with all the relevant information. Despite a few “teething problems” ii is still highly recommended.
