Elim Lakeside House

It's self catering so no breakfast. we had to do our own. The place is wonderful . They need to put a cleaner though and linen change every couple of days would be great. plus you would expect basic supplies like body wash and body lotion.

The cupboards had dust all over and we needed to clean them. Put the option of bottled water or at least a water dispenser not just relying on borehole water as some guests are sensitive to this

it was breathtakingly beautiful. loadshedding was not an issue. they had a generator and the change over seem less. evening fire outside was the cherry on the cake! every single thing you look at feasts your eyes… I could live like this!!’

what is there not to like when the owner and the caretaker are extremely responsive and helpful!!!

The property was of Great quality. It was extremely clean, very neat. The house was very well equipped and met all our needs. The caretaker on the property is nothing short of amazing. He was of great help at any time of day. The Generator available during load shedding was just the icing on the cake we needed I highly recommend this house for a retreat.

The dirt road going to the house requires quite alot of attention. It is the only draw in an otherwise excellent house

Really big open quiet space on the dam. Rooms were big and comfortable. house is beatutiful. Dstv, wifi etc. not that we used it was great to have. Pet friendly with a huge fenced off yard was great, our two dogs had a great time. Housekeeper on site is very friendly and helpful. overall a great stay and would recommend!

main road is terrible with potholes. Road to the lodge itself needs a high clearance vehicle as its offroad.
