Glengyle Guest Farm

The house was very homely and beautiful. We immediately felt at home. The setting is just breathtaking.

It is a beautiful old farmhouse! Covered in Ivy on the outside that turned pink with fall. There is a huge dinning table that I can just imagine families sitting around and talking about their day. The fireplace warms the big house up and the bay windows through the house is just an inviting spot to sit and read. The gardens are beautiful and the pond down in the valley is a must visit. Oliver was a fantastic host.

Being an old farm house and the cold winters the challenge is always to keep everything working. The warm water in the big bathroom takes a good few minutes to warm up, but Oliver warned us and we just used the smaller bathroom as there the warm water was instant.

Still one of the most comfortable and best environments we've been to. Absolutely stunning! The host and property are far above average. This is without question going to become one of our regular destinations. Only problem is it's a little far from home.

Such an amazing blessing it was to have had 2 stays here now! This is fast becoming our favorite stop in the Eastern Cape! Breathtaking views and exceptional facilities! Space is luxurious and the house grand! The kitchen is my best place after the enormous dining room!
