The unit was clean and efficient. Cutlery and all kitchen utensils were available and more than enough. The view to the Kruger was an amazing add on and the jacuzzi was the cherry on top!!

Disappointed with Hygiene and Customer Service Our stay at Marloth Kruger View Studio (Feb 9–11, 2025) was unfortunately overshadowed by a serious hygiene issue. Upon arrival at Studio 2, we noticed a strong fishy odor coming from the fridge. Despite this, we stored and consumed food from it, which led to food poisoning symptoms—nausea, vomiting, and headaches for me, and diarrhea for my fiancée. When we raised our concerns with the host, Mariette, we were met with dismissive responses rather than accountability. She acknowledged that her cleaning staff had noticed the smell but insisted it had been cleaned. However, the odor persisted throughout our stay, and we suffered the consequences. Instead of addressing our request for a partial refund to cover the inconvenience and medical costs, the host attempted to deflect blame onto us, claiming that a smell alone could not cause food poisoning. This experience was extremely disappointing, not just due to the health risks but also because of the lack of customer care. Hygiene should be a top priority in hospitality, and proper food safety measures should be in place to prevent incidents like this. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this accommodation and will be escalating the matter further.
