It was very comfortable and clean, and will worth the money. As I have come to York on serval occasions, it was far the best and is perfect for someone travelling alone. I am going back again in April.

Becky is a very Friendly and nice host, the room is very cosy.

The neighborhood is quiet and pretty. Becky is always warm-hearted and really have a good conversation with her.

The room is warm but tiny. If you bring a lot of luggage, consider the other room of Becky's.

This was my first time at a home stay and I would do it again. My room was on the second floor with my own bathroom, private and quite separated. This property is kept impeccably clean, it's modern and has a nice design. The room had a microwave, a kettle and a mini fridge, the bathroom had a lovely walk-in shower and you get toiletries, no need to carry heavy bottles with you. There is a small TV with on-demand channels too. The owner is a lovely lady, very helpful with all questions. The city centre is a 20-minute bus drive away, the bus stop is a 2-minute walk from the house. You come and go when you please. I felt like staying at a boutique hotel without the hefty price tag, I would definitely recommend this place!

The bus ride may seem like a negative if you're used to driving to the corner shop like me, but the bus was quite convenient and drops you at the city centre.It saved me the 5-hour drive and the trouble of finding parking in a very busy, historic city.

Great communication from the owner. I didn't actually meet anyone from the property. single loft room with bed, dressing table, mini fridge and microwave.

I couldnt figure out the heater in the bedroom, I could have contacted the owner to ask but was nightshift so just wanted to get to bed!
