Hiranya Guest House

Amazing guest house in the middle of Patan. Very cute and traditional Patan house, hidden from the road In a little courtyard with a café on the ground-floor. The room Is spacious and decorated with a great deal of taste. Lovely owner ! Recommended if you stay in Patan

The location was right in Old Patan, around 5 mins walk to the Patan Darbur Square, Museum and the historical attractions. The staff was very responsive over the Booking.com chat function and helpful in bringing my luggage up to the 3rd floor (all rooms are either on the 3rd or 4th floor). I particularly like the traditional building and furniture, as well as the balcony. Towels and hand soapbar are provided but take note to bring your own bathing soap and toiletries.

The sheets and toilet was clean but the floor wasn't properly swept. The cafe is not open on weekends and holidays. There was a signage but the hotel itself is not easy to find amidst the many small streets. Cabs are unlikely to know about it, so it's best to have GPS to direct the cab or have the hotel staff book and direct the cab.

Hiranya Guest House is centrally situated in the old area of Patan, surrounded by chaityas and temples, close to Pimbahal lake, in walking distance to Patan Durbar, cafes, restaurants...

Great Staff, great coffee, great location. Has an authentic feel in the old town and is clean and comfortable.
