The lady who owns the place tries really hard to make you comfortable. The location of the place is close to the beach

We felt bit scam with the rent bike. The man offer a overpriced bike. We clearly knew it and he said that it was not. We could really easy get another cheaper in town

On my first day, they had scheduled a repair for a gas leak on the air con unit. No one told me the unit was leaking before checking me into the room. Potentially, it was a very dangerous situation for me, sleeping in a room with no ventilation and a leaking aircon unit. They decided a guest could still stay in the room whilst work had prior been scheduled, I was denied access to the room I paid for 5 hours. Throughout my stay, I was asked for pictures for marketing the property. I checked out early after I was again asked to leave the room on another day for new photographs to be taken. They moved my scooter whilst the wheel lock was on without consent. I had left my passport as a deposit and thought it had been stolen when I saw it was not where I had left it. Again, to take pictures for marketing. I felt a lack of respect or dignity was provided here. I left due to feeling uncomfortable. I was due to stay in Sri Lanka for two months and decided after this and other events to leave Sri Lanka after just 2 weeks. I came to Sri Lanka to relax. Not for people to try and take advantage of me. To top it off, they wouldn't even provide me with the air-conditioning they kicked me out of the room to fix for 5 hours.

My stay at Kosi Giggles far exceeded my expectations! The family took such good care of me and I felt so relaxed there. They cook delicious food, the breakfasts were big and I'd definitely recommend having a rice and curry there for dinner, it was the best I'd eaten in Sri Lanka! I even took a cooking class to learn how to make them which was so lovely and really interesting. They're situated right on the river surrounded by fruit trees and you can even spot iguanas chilling on their property. Being greeted by Gigi the sweetest dog every day was an added bonus 😊 they've also installed air con in the rooms so it's a very comfortable stay. I'd highly recommend staying at this lovely place.

I enjoyed my stay at Kosi Giggles Resort very much. The owners are super friendly and the room is beautiful. The food is super delicious 😊 You also get free juice and good recommendations about places to visit. A perfect place to stay!

I love absolutely everything. *location *observing iguanas on the River bank *smiley faces of all familij * amazing food * coconuts the didn't have, but quickly organized for us * cleanliness That's the place to be! And worth to support local family whose amazing l, friendly daughter is going to uni soon!

Very friendly hosts that will help with everything. Good and different sri lankan breakfasts everyday with a beautifull view in the garden at the lake. So piecefull and very nice start of the day. Also had scooter rental. And we did a cooking class with them what was very nice and tastefully. There are two dogs both friendly.

We first stayed one night in the non airco room wich was very hot and the fan for us wasn't enough. We could switch to the airco room witch was perfect!

Im so grateful with this family! Now, my family ♥️ my favourite Sri Lankan family ✨ I had amazing time, I spent there 3 days and I felt at home every day. They cooked delicious meals, if you stay there dont lost the opportunity to try the rial homemade sri lankan food. breakfast was every day different! Confortable rooms. The garden is dirextly to the river. Very peaceful and quiet. They also rented me a motorbike, everything 10 of 10. I will remember this all my life ♥️ bohoma stouti family and definitely see you again in my next trip to Sri Lanka!
