The Rock Guesthouse A 1923 Stone Heritage Home in Meteora

Keys were in the lockbox right by the door, really easy to get. Location is close to the square and shops. Meteora monasteries are about 20 minutes drive, so very close. A lot of beds and 3 rooms, so enough space for a family. Parking is on the street, but wasn't too hard to find.

The shower is a bit small and water sprays all over the place, as there is no curtain. Toilet paper needs to be put in a trash can and not in the toilet, but that seems more common in Greece.

It was a beautiful spacious apartment which had everything someone would need at a very central location. Parking could be easily found at the street outside. A very good choice if you have children as the house is at floor 0 and there are only a few stairs to access it. There is a beautiful garden where children can play with a Meteora rock as a background. The inside of the house is so beautifully decorated (we had to move some decorations away as my 2 year old wouldn't let anything go), three bedrooms, a bathroom (thanks for the shampoo and shower gel provided) and a kitchen (thanks for the breakfast choices provided and for the bottles of water). As a family of four, we all loved it! We would choose it again when we visit Kalabaka again!

Beautiful old house. Spacious. Great location near everything. Easy check-in and check-out. Didn’t even meet the hosts.

No parking (have to find street parking). The floors creaked a lot. Beds were too firm for us. Almost no power outlets in the bedrooms. Shower has no curtain so water sprays everywhere.

Nice restoration

It’s a house with 100 hundred years old history. So quiet, so comfortable, feelings like you come home. And of course the place.
