Sree Nivas Homestay

The house was neat and clean. Good breakfast. The location is close to Sri Padmanabha Swamy temple around 5 mins by Auto. Mr. Venugopal and his family were very nice and helpful. Would recommend for family with kids.

What a lovely experience! I left Sree Nivas Homestay with a very good feeling. And it was not just because Ammaji made a beautiful breakfast-to-go for me… I left Sree Nivas at 6.30 AM and Venugopal N and Ammaji were there to wave me goodbye and wish me a good onward travel (how sweet). I was warmly welcomed three days earlier and had a very satisfactory and pleasant stay. As I was the only one in the first floor, I basically had a complete apartment all to my self! The location was good (right by the airport and close to the temple and east fort) and I discovered that Thrivandrum is a must-visit… “Gods own land”. I would very much recommend Sree Nivas Homestay if you’re looking for clean rooms, great service, very good pricing, extensive information on what to do in Thrivandrum and above all a delightful taste of the Kerala hospitality. But thats not all: the amazing Kerala breakfast made with love and ingredients from their own garden was the highlight. Just a lovely experience and a great way to say goodbye to my time in Kerala. I would love to be back one day to meet these delightful, caring and integer people again. Thank you!

Les propriétaires étaient charmants et très accueillants. Un bel emplacement, très tranquille, à 15’ à pied du temple principal. Venu nous a dressé la liste des centres d’intérêt et nous a donné plein d’explications sur le festival religieux qui s’y déroulait. Vinu, sa femme nous a préparé des petits-déjeuners délicieux, elle nous a habillés de sari et de dhoti pour la photo. Des hôtes adorables.

Dommage que notre salle de bains soit séparée de notre chambre, il fallait traverser le hall, la cuisine, avant de l’atteindre.

it’s a married couple of enthusiastic scientists who runs this homestay and teach online. homie welcoming vibe, food and conversation with them.

if anything, i wish the time of communicate was more flexible but it’s a home stay and they have their professions.

Заезжали поздно в 23:30 , провести 1 ночь , в 10 утра уже уехали . Ровно 25 минут нас регистрировал хозяин жилья . Сначала один журнал, потом второй , медленно и печально . Потом наконец то нас впустили в номер. И тут стало грустно и смешно , нас закрыли снаружи на замок. Комендантский час ))) офигеть конечно. Хозяин может думал , что мы сбежим прихватив с кухни его посуду или он так заботился о нашей сохранности . Похоже человек не понимает , что такое хотя бы пожарная безопастность , случись чего , а нам и не выбраться . Рваное белье , пыль в комнате на полках , с выставленными поделками

Accueil exceptionnel effectué par un couple aux petits soins. Petit déjeuner exceptionnel préparé par Madame avec plusieurs spécialités indiennes. Monsieur a largement partagé sur le quartier, l'Inde, ses traditions. Il m'a montré des ustensiles traditionnels tout en convoquant l'histoire du pays, de sa famille également. J'ai pu laisser mes affaires après le check-out afin de visiter Trivandrum. Il est possible de faire une séance de Yoga tout en haut de la maison si l'on a son tapis. Un des meilleurs accueils reçus en voyage, hospitalité, disponibilité, partage.
