Grand Meru Homestay

Not cleaned. The floor very oily. Toilet floor terribly wet. Toilet bowl cover heavily stained. Bedsheet not changed. No soap or shampoo provided for bath. Rubbish by earlier tenant still in the bin. All doors make irritating sound. Shower head not properly installed in the master bedroom. Only one access card to enter the compound, parking lot, lift and the house make us difficult with 2 cars and 6 pax. The owner not answering the calls and texts as they should.

Everything. The check in was a nightmare with the lock box not being able to be opened for 20 mins ++. The home when I checked in had cobwebs and has clearly not been cleaned for months. Even the cleaner mentioned that the home owner does not provide cleaning equipment so she can’t clean properly and left. The place is also infested with cockroaches and when alerted I was told this is a building issue. My daughter was bitten severely by bed bugs at this place and it’s a shame that the owner was prioritizing money rather than her guest experience which was horrific. I’ve never regretted something this bad before and to the owner : I’m so sorry I gave you a chance from the beginning to rectify the issues with the property. I should’ve just left on the day I saw the condition of it but I stayed as You assured me it’ll be cleaned and all issues will be looked into. Icing on the cake was trying to make a profit of rm250 from me by making me book directly from you for one extra night due to the horrible storm in Ipoh. Thanks for nothing because I drove back to kl in horrible weather conditions with an INFANT. Not to forget they had rubbish furniture outside the main door of the property and we couldn’t exit the house door for almost an entire day due to the path being blocked. There is enough space for all of us and comfortable.

There is leaking from the sink, blankets are too short and other than that all okay.
