The Orchard Retreat

The property is in an idelic location. The view is amazing and it is close to nearby town of Bath which we accessed via the park and ride which was handy. We saw a deer in the garden which was lovely. It is modern and clean with comfortable beds. Basic provisions for the Tassimo machine, tea coffee and milk were available, and bag of crisps. The jacuzzi was one if the reasons we booked this property.

The jacuzzi seemed over chlorinated. It bleached my swimming costume and my friend had a skin reaction in the jacuzzi which she hasn't had before. There are 2 double beds but the sofa would be a squeeze for 4 adults. The robes supplied would not have fitted your average grown man. We knew there wasn't a 'kitchen' but it seems strange as to why the owners didn't put a sink in. We had a washing up bowl etc but obviously had to fill and empty this in the bathroom sink. The property is overlooked by the air bnb on the same plot and by coincidence, the people staying were standing at the bedroom window as we walked to the jacuzzi which was embarrassing. We noticed following this that they closed that side of the bedroom window curtains which was appreciated. Some coverage over part of the jacuzzi would be beneficial for when it rains and some extra lighting would enhanced the ambience. Some trees or quick growing shrubs would help provide more privacy.

Situated near Bath, lovely view of the countryside, very safe and clean.

There is No Kitchen and this is Not a 4 person accommodation.The retreat has a king size bed and a 3/4 size bed not a small double. The seatee only seats 2 and 3 at a squeeze. Cold hot tub and shower. Small towel rail. No sharp knives or chopping boards and only 3 cups for 4 people.

The place is done to an exceptional standard with the comfiest beds and so clean (and smells incredible!) Jess was fantastic throughout our stay. Due to an error on booking.com it listed the apartment as having a kitchen - she dropped an air fryer round so we could cook the food we had bought. She also dropped clean towels round when the bathroom flooded. Hot tub is a massive hit - wouldn't hesitate to stay again!!

Warmwasser unter Dusche hat nicht richtig funktioniert, es war nicht einmal eine Möglichkeit da Geschirr abzuspülen, man musste es in einer mittelgroßen Plastikschluessel erledigten, die man im Badezimmer mit Wasser füllen muss. Das ist aufwendig und für den Preis nicht akzeptabel, Die Betten sind zu klein, das King-Size-Bett hat normale Doppelbettgrösse, das Doppelbett ist ein etwas größeres Einzelbett (nicht für 2 Kinder geeignet)

The facilities were well-maintained and thoughtfully designed, enhancing the overall comfort and convenience of the stay. A truly pleasant and rejuvenating escape.

It would have been perfect if there was a sink and a hob. Maybe airfryer?
