Old Kotor apartment

Amazing apartment, a minute away from the old city. Well equipped, clean, cosy, stylish, you can tell a lot of effort has been put into decoration. Check-in was easy with the detailed instructions provided by the host.

Parking area in the back yard was quite small, and crowded. However, there is free parking in the street, which we used during our stay.

The house is so beautiful.

Parking was very narrow and limited

All facilities were accounted for, the property was clean and we positioned. It was nicely decorated and quite spacious for two people. We appreciated the hosts’ hospitality and it was easy to get to thanks to the good instructions. We appreciated that when we arrived the AC was on and we had a bottle of chilled wine in the fridge (attention to small details counts). The apartment was placed at the round about just before the marina, meaning it is close to the old town (hence the name) but just outside the horrible traffic. We found free parking on the adjacent street, very close to the apartment, which was great. There is an IDEA shop just across the street for emergency purchases and the prices are not that high.

The only small thing would be that the Main Street leading to the old town, the marina and the beaches passes in front of the apartment and it can get a little noisy during the day, but it quiets down after 9-10 PM on the weekdays. In the weekend it’s noisier until later in the evening but it’s bearable after a few drinks ☺️

The best location you can find. Few minutes walk to the south entrance, a good steak restaurant across the street and a grocery store too. Room is on the second floor and the best design I have ever seen in this kind of private accommodation. Everything is well designed and installed, and beautiful.

The parking is behind the building. But it’s tricky for our North American drivers to squeeze into a cramped space to park. Thankfully the neighbour on the first floor came out and helped us park the car. This is not a complain but just to tell people that don’t be overconfident in parking like this in Europe. There is a public parking lot next to the grocery store and the rate is 1.7euro per hour, which could be a considerable option.

Amazing apartment. Bus station and the old town a few mins away, supermarket across the road, a couple of restaurants etc. nearby. The apartment was clean,spacious,well equipped and very cosy. The hosts were super responsive and friendly. I'd definitely stay again!

Pillows were a bit too hard for me but it's my personal preference.

The place is so nice, so clean, modern, cozy and perfect location. Just 5 minutes walk to old town.. if definitely 100% recommend and stay here again when I comeback to Kotor

The location is excellent and the apartment is comfortable::

We said that we would arrive on the 2pm bus from Tirana. and we were told that we would be met at the apartment, to be given the keys. We arrived at the apartment a few minutes after 2pm. We were sent a message at 2:03pm, via Booking.com, telling us to advise when we had arrived at the apartment. It would have been helpful to have  been sent this message earlier. Unsurprisingly, we did not see this message until after we messaged at 2:21pm to say that we were waiting at the apartment building. The host arrived with the keys 15 minutes later. Booking.com described the apartment as having a washing machine and sea views. It had neither. After sending a message enquiring, the host replied 24 hours later that the washing machine was away being repaired and that the promise of sea views was a mistake. An offer was made to do our laundry. The shower rose drooped on its fitting, so we had to hold the shower and a kitchen drawer handle was burred and useless.
