Podczas trekingu od Mestia do Ushguli to było najbardziej sympatyczne miejsce, w którym się zatrzymałam. Niezwykła, dzika okolica dało nam jeszcze inne spojrzenie na Gruzję. Jedzenie było przepyszne i obfite! To prawdziwa uczta, której nie byliśmy w stanie dojeść do końca :) A gospodyni, jej maleńka córeczka i przyjazny kotek sprawili, że czuliśmy się jak w domu.

Gdybym miała się przyczepić do czegoś - odległość od głównej trasy trekingowej mogłaby być problemem. Ale się nie przyczepię, bo przejście było ciekawe i nieuciążliwe, a rekompensata za dodatkowe 2 kilometry w postaci klimatu okolicy, domowej atmosfery i pysznego jedzenia sprawiła, że powtórzę - naprawdę polecam to miejsce!

Clean beautiful well renovated house, elegant interior. Beautiful view. Nice yard where you can relax and drink coffee. The host Medea is very hospitable and tactful. She helped us with everything: washing clothes, water, lift to the hiking path. Her dinner was very delicious (no lactose and no gluten as we asked). Red wine was included (we tried a little and liked it). It's a family house, but it's quite big and guest zones are separated so you have your privacy. Everyone is very warm and friendly. Big purring cat and wonderful little girl 💘 It was 100% our best stay in Georgia so far. True hospitality + great service, we felt very comfortable and welcome. Would definitely recommend.

We hiked from Iprali and it was quite a long walk. But Medea suggested to give us a lift — I just missed her message

Amazing host! The guest house exceeded our expectations! Medea went over and beyond! She was happy to drive us around, organised delicious dinner at the local cafe! Highly recommended.

Hospitality

We liked the place with a small garden where to rest after a long hike. Medea was very kind and friendly. The room was comfortable and breakfast was very good. We were struggling to reaching Mestia and Medea drove us there. That was very convenient.

Medea is a very kind and friendly host! The house is tucked behind another property, but there is plenty of parking nearby. The rooms are comfortable and we enjoyed a big breakfast.

Medea made us feel very welcome and well cared for. Great English (and Italian) made communication convenient. Quick to respond to messages. Room and guesthouse were clean and comfortable.

I stayed here while trekking from Mestia to Ushguli and this was by far the best guesthouse I stayed in during the 5 days. Medea is an absolute star - she picked me up from Iprali, even though the road conditions were terrible and she made sure I was completely comfortable throughout my stay. Bath robes and slippers are available in the rooms (which is not the norm in guesthouses along the trekking route). The meal service was absolutely fantastic - fresh and varied food, including handmade pizza which Medea learned to make during her years living in Italy. Although the guesthouse is not directly in Iprali, it is absolutely worth staying here if you are trekking. Medea provides a level of service and comfort that you just will not find elsewhere.

Our host was extremely kind and helpful. She came to pick us up from Iprari, and offered to do our laundry, all without asking for anything in return. Breakfast and dinner were massive meals with lots of variety, and even our tea arrived with a bunch of sweets on the side. The room was pretty basic but warm enough, and the shower had plenty hot water.

The place is just slightly off the normal Mestia-Ushguli hiking route, but nothing too far.
