Pacifico Surf Bayay

Very clean, safe place to stay and stone throw away from the ocean. Air-conditioned room and private rest room for deluxe room. Very near the ocean and surfing area. Surfing instructors and lessons are available in the surfing school. Great place to stay. Very quiet area just the waves of the ocean 🌊🌊🌊

All good! Awesome experience. I just regret coming earlier of the year. I should come September when surfing competition is happening.

It's a short walk to the beach

Their was loud building work going on outside the room. The room itself had loads of holes and cracks in the wall that bugs could easily get in. A small fan barely hanging on that barely did anything to cool down the room. Room itself was very tired and dark and gave a very depressing feeling the moment you walk in to the tiny space, with no basic amenities what so ever. The drinking water tasted warm and stale.

It was in the middle of green and off the main road. Loved the lush garden.

The location is wonderful and the staff amazing! The Surf Bayay has a wonderful garden and therefore, there is a beautiful view from the room to the palms and plants. Everyone of the staff is so lovely and kind, reason why we felt like being at home. It is also the perfect accomodation for taking surf lessons at the surf school. We absolutely recommend the Surf Bayay!

In my opinion it’s a bit too expensive for what you get. But definately had a good stay :)

Quiet area but central location. Easy to arrange a scooter for us to rent during our stay. Clean outside kitchen. Nice outdoor space with hammock.

No hot water and lack of hanging spaces for clothes (inside and out). Although the outdoor space is nice, the path to the washing machine area for staff is right next to the hammock. This meant no privacy outside as one staff member kept walking past at least 20 times in one afternoon.

Loved the spacious room which was very clean! They even came to clean it after two nights and replaced bedding and towels. Manager Charlotte was very nice and helpful. The cleaning ladies were also very nice.

The bathroom was a bit basic, cold shower (where in 3/4 cheaper places we stayed at there were hot showers), toilet would only flush once per hour and window that couldn’t close in bathroom didn’t have a mosquito net in front of it. We didn’t have such a good experience with the surf shop employees, renting a motorbike was over priced (600 pesos/24h) and the girl at the desk was unfriendly, even rude. Kept playing a game on her phone without even looking at us. Got wet helmets, when asked she just on an annoyed tone, ‘well that’s what we have’. So would recommend renting a motorbike down the street where they ask 500 or even less. Also the booked surfing lesson for the next morning, it looked like there was no instructor. Then they called and someone showed up, not sure if he was happy about that. On our way to the surf spot we could use the motorbike, but after surfing it was gone and we had to walk back (with the gear). All just went a little strange. So didn’t book another lesson.

Host was super helpful and friendly. The area is stunning and the room was amazingly big. Confortable bed with plenty of room for luggage. Air con was a plus and worked perfectly (no noise, this was important for us!). Nicely decorated inside and outside. Loved the little terrace.
