Sea Salt Apartments

The property was lovely, it had an amazing terrace and all the America we could need, there was always parking available and it was less than a minutes walk from the beach and Main Street with restaurants and cafes we could not find a fault with Sea Salt Apartments

Maki’s and his family are such lovely and polite hosts, from the very first to the last second they made sure we had a great stay in Kefalonia and even reached out to ensure that. You can tell when people put in true effort and hospitality and want you to enjoy it. It was exceptionally clean and conveniently located in the charming town of Sami right next to a beach and lots of Tavernas. The airport transfer also was great and worked out all smoothly, especially since I arrived early in the morning and I didn’t even have to ask for an early check in, which most accommodations either don’t allow or charge extra for. Definitely recommended especially given the kindness and hospitality of the host, we will be back the next time we visit Kefalonia!

nothing to criticize

Very well equiped, clean and well kept. The aircon works well which was important for us as it was extremely hot weather.

Shower was a little cramped for tall teenage son, not a problem for me.

I would like to recommend to stay there.

Excellent

The apartment is run by a lovely family who were very helpful and even lent us some chairs to take to the beach. It is well equipped and the location is excellent. It was immaculately clean. Inside it is a little dark as many Mediterranean properties are, and probably a blessing in the heat of high summer (we were there in October). The shower is inside quite a narrow bathtub, so may be tricky for anyone with mobility issues, and is run off the bath tabs, handheld, rather than fixed to the wall. The garden is delightful and there is plenty of space to sit in the shade or in the sun. The distance to Sami’s lovely seafront is only a few steps away from the apartment.

Owner met us in person and walked us through explaining how everything worked. We hired a car so could travel easily to nearest towns also lovely in little harbours. Found a great beach close to Sami, umbrella & 2 sun bed hire all day beachside for 12 euro. also has taverna at beach. Need a car to get there, unsure if bus is avail. Handy having a kitchen, we cooked a few meals & enjoyed them outside in private garden 😊
