Its a lovely homestay in a quiet locality with a great host. The property was very clean and well maintained. I have never seen such a clean and hygienic bathroom in any of my stays till date and it was quite big too. Room was quiet with all amenities and clean linen. The host was very accommodating and friendly. I'd definitely come back for a stay and recommend this homestay to my friends.

A quaint little homestay at Srinagar. Their rooms and clean and service by Mr Aashiq is prompt. They also have parking. However the location is not ideal and in a very small lane. Google shows the correct location and you can reach without much hassle. Being a homestay, you cannot expect the services of a hotel. And also be ready for a lecture by Mr Aashiq if you mistakenly leave the lights and fans on in the room. Food is homely and good.

Moonshine Homestay without any hesitation. It offers excellent hospitality and very comfortable rooms. I can confidently say that within this price range, you won't find anything comparable in all of Srinagar. Additionally, it provides Wi-Fi and parking facilities. They have many rooms and two buildings dedicated to the homestay. Additionally, they run a travel agency. Located in Rajbagh, their business has been well-established for a hundred years, providing excellent homestay services in Srinagar. They also own a houseboat named Salmar Houseboat. Their bathrooms and rooms are exceptionally clean and unique, and they prioritize hygiene above all. They ask their guests to remove their shoes and provide slippers to ensure comfort indoors. Each room comes with three slippers: two for the bedroom and one for the bathroom. The bathroom is equipped with a geyser for hot water, ensuring a constant supply of warm water. This homestay also provides facilities for dinner, breakfast, and lunch on-site with excellent service. They offer both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options at different prices: ₹250 per plate for vegetarian and ₹350 per plate ( price may change according to season we take in june 2024) for non-vegetarian, both unlimited. We had the vegetarian thali, which included four types of vegetables and was delicious. They served dinner very graciously, making us feel at home. The owner of the property is an exceptionally energetic and wonderful person. Even if we left early in the morning at 5 AM, he would be available late at night and always answered our phone calls promptly. There was never a time when he didn't pick up the phone. His dedication and energy made our stay even more comfortable and enjoyable. We visited various places such as Sonamarg, Gulmarg, and Gurez Valley, and we consulted with the owner before going. He provided us with contact numbers of his friends or acquaintances there, and his name carried a lot of weight.

A lovely homestay in a quiet location, immaculately clean, build in a traditional Kashmiri style. Super comfortable mattress and pillows, soft towels, great pressure hot shower. Ash and his family are welcoming and will organise your tours or treks if you’re interested. You also can eat there your dinner which is made fresh and is very delicious.
