Oriole Bush Cottage

Very good cottage. We loved everything. Good contact with the host. Very nice terrace. We have done lovely walks in the morning. Easy to make a nice meal. When We visit Hoedspruit again We will stay at Oriole.

Water of the plunge pool was freezing

Thanks to Riette for providing us with such a beautiful home. Everything was so well thought of. The pictures really do not do it justice. We appreciated the prompt responses to our questions and queries. The wine and chocolates were a cherry on top and such an amazing gesture. We will definitely return to this hidden gem and recommend this lovely home to friends and family.

Honestly....the only thing that we didn't like was the fact that we had to leave.

Riette was an excellent hostess. All communication was prompt and we received all the information we needed to access the estate and house. When the electric kettle didn't work, it was immediately replaced. Tasteful decor and thoughtful touches. I would definitely recommend staying at Oriol bush cottage.

A few minor things due to personal preference but nothing that would stop me recommending the property.

The atmosphere was breathtaking and relaxing, the cleanliness of the place. The pool was great and the outdoor shower element. Wine upon arrival was a nice touch and the kitchen was well equipped. It was definitely peaceful.

The place is clean and homely. You get to see the animals as your view. The place actually has everything including an ice machine to spices. The owner also communicates very well.

There’s nothing wrong with the place but to braai meat you have to bend down (braai area)
