Public House Hostel

Great for a night before or after a flight (near the airport). Friendly staff, you also get a coupon for a free coffee at the cafe next door. Comfortable room with locker to store your valuables.

The beds were big and comfy enough, the bathroom was clean and finally a real hot shower in Philippines.

There is no real common area to hang out; the only places you can sit are the lobby or your bed. When you sit in the lobby, it somehow feels awkward, as if hostel guests are not really welcome there. There is no free coffee or tea; instead, they give you a card for one free Americano at the café next door, and you can’t change the drink, even if you’re willing to pay extra, they’re very strict about it. The staff sometimes slide the door open and enter the room in their heels without even knocking, so it doesn’t have that cozy, homey hostel vibe.

10 min from the airport - cozy, simple dorm but clean and smelling good (there's a spa aswell). The bathrooms are more like hotel ones, not cramped up tiny hostel booths. You get one americano (specifically) per night booking. It's bitter, not tasty. However for a major lack of options around, and in general most hostels not being this comfortable and clean, they deserve 5*. The staff is friendly and attentive. They can book cabs/ tricycle for you. Super responsive on WhatsApp.

Not much good food options around. Next to the highway, no common space with privacy- only the lobby where spa guests sit too. Coffee/ drink station with kettle etc. No space in the room to organise luggage if all beds are occupied (6).
